The planetary energies continue to heat up this month with LOTS of cosmic shifts!  Mercury in Libra continues to square Mars in Cancer (began 8/25) during week one of September (exact 9/3).  Mercury in challenge aspect to Mars suggests clashes involving communication and aggression.  Due to the Mercury retrograde cycle coming up, this aspect will repeat once again 10/27 through November 4.  It is best to refrain from verbal arguments as tempers and/or irritability may flare up at this time.  Positively, if there is some matter close to your heart you wish to debate, teach, communicate or take a stand in efforts to help, heal or enlighten others...Mercury-Mars can be a great asset, aligning communication with a confident intelligence. 

There is FULL MOON ON SEPTEMBER 4 AT 12 DEGREES OF MYSTICAL PISCES AT 12:04 PM (EDT).

Pisces Full Moons are wonderful times to engage in dance, music, art, healing arts and creative pursuits of all kinds.  The collective vibration is very sensitive, psychic and intuitive at this time.  Allow sacred space and time for reflection, daydreaming or imagination to take center stage.  It is best to avoid destructive forms of escapism, as Pisces yearns to merge and transcend everyday reality.  Attend to the needs of your spirit today and be in the flow with the cycle of the Moon!

MERCURY STATIONS RETROGRADE AT 6 LIBRA ON SEPTEMBER 6 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 29, 2009.  It will re-trace its steps backwards from 6 Libra to 21 Virgo, cosmically asking us to cultivate our internal, contemplative side and patiently review, revise and reconsider all matters of importance in our daily lives.  Pay attention to details as negotiation and communication matters are subject to temporary delays or miscommunications.  This is not the best time to purchase a car, cell phone, computer or home appliance!  I once defied the universe and bought a washing machine during a Mercury retrograde.  I thought I out smarted the universe until it broke down and the technician told me they discontinued this model due to constant problems and complaints!   A wonderful mantra for this time period is "I choose to reflect and review.  All is well."

Venus in Leo opposes Jupiter in Aquarius 9/6 through 9/13....Finally, a delightful and fun loving aspect!   We deserve it!   Venus-Jupiter suggests heightened awareness of love, beauty and the arts.  Over indulgence is also a possibility as Jupiter expands whatever it comes into contact with...In this case, finances, food and pleasure. The expansion principle seeks balance with the principle of love and attraction.   

With PLUTO STATIONING DIRECT ON 9/11, we are feeling more ready than ever to integrate the powerful lessons we have learned so far this year.  Many of us have learned to create meaningful and constructive changes in our lives.  Pluto is the archetypal transformer, shaman, psychologist and detective. .  Those of us experiencing a Pluto cycle are asked to face our deepest fears, incorporate the shadow and gain command of powerful life energies facilitating positive and lasting change in our lives. Pluto transits bring our most intense desires and feelings to the surface where we are required to master them and step into our future transformed.  This is a great time to de-clutter on all levels as Pluto seeks to purge and release all that is unnecessary in our lives.

MID MONTH, TENSION FOR CHANGE, RE-EVALUATION AND A SERIOUS MOOD IS IN THE AIR.

ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2009 (IN EFFECT ALL MONTH), THE SATURN IN VIRGO - URANUS IN PISCES OPPOSITION KICKS IN HIGH GEAR ONCE AGAIN!   When this alignment began in September 2008, a major financial crisis began in North America and spread across the globe.  There is no doubt that our outer reality is calling for massive change.  We can choose to see this in a positive light knowing there is a higher purpose for these uncomfortable shifts.  We do not have to give in to pessimism and fear.   This alignment is an opposition between the status quo and liberating or unsettling change.  If internalized, this can be a challenging and tense time for many individuals.  Ideally, be open to new circumstances which blend the traditional and the progressive.  We must stay centered as we ride the wave of contradiction.  We must make room in our lives for detours and debates between the conventional and unconventional.  Collectively, we are being asked to create alternative solutions to old problems and ways of being in the world. 

Also on 9/15, transiting Venus will oppose Neptune in Aquarius, suggesting a powerful mood of either discontent, unrequited love or inspiration through the mediums of art, nature, music and healing.  Our senses are seeking sacred sanctuary in these times of change.  Tune into that which sustains you...God, creator, higher self, the divine or source, and know that this too shall pass.

ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2009, TRANSITING SUN IN VIRGO TRIGGERS THE TENSE SATURN - URANUS OPPOSITION AND RETROGRADE MERCURY SQUARES PLUTO!.   With Sun conjoining Saturn in Virgo, the mood of this day and week is responsible, serious, focused, deliberate and somber.  Yet, it's opposition to wild card Uranus seeks liberation, freedom and experimentation.  Flow with the unexpected during this time and try to avoid verbal disputes as Mercury retrograde squares Pluto in Capricorn.  Mercury in challenge aspect to intense Pluto can be revolutionary and combative.  Prepare for old issues re-surfacing, demanding review and reconsideration.  Positively, we can make some real progress in revising intense matters of dispute.  This aspect will repeat with Mercury direct on 10/10/09.  Bottom line advice:  Take nothing personally.  Flow with change.  Carefully consider your options.  Reflect, review and attend to details. 

THERE IS SERIOUS AND FOCUSED NEW MOON ON SEPTEMBER 18 AT 2:45 PM (EDT) AT 25 VIRGO.  This New Moon conjoins retrograde Mercury and taskmaster Saturn in Virgo, triggering the Saturn-Uranus opposition once again!  This New Moon is an excellent time period to focus on details with emphasis on Virgo qualities of analysis, discernment and organization.  Find out where this New Moon occurs in your soul's natal blueprint.  This is your power spot over the upcoming weeks to be efficient, health conscious, service oriented and grounded in reality.  Remember, Mercury is still retrograde.  Pay attention to details, but wait until Mercury is direct to sign any major contracts or proposals.

ON SEPTEMBER 22, THE SUN ENTERS ZERO LIBRA AT 5:19 PM (EDT)- THE FALL EQUINOX-  A momentary state of precise equilibrium.  This is an excellent time to support local farmer's markets and donate to food banks in your area.   We are reminded to be grateful for the harvests and blessings cultivated in our own lives.  Personally speaking, I am voting for health when I choose to spend my dollar on farmers markets and organic produce whenever possible.  "Agri" business is not in alignment with our times!

Also on 9/22 - 9/23, the Sun in Libra will square Pluto in Capricorn, along with Mercury in Virgo triggering the Saturn - Uranus opposition yet again!   Bottom line advice:  Transformation, release and intense re-adjustment are called for as we confront various challenges.  In addition, we are seriously reviewing our hopes, wishes and dreams with an analytical eye and painstaking analysis.  With Mercury retrograde oppose Lighting speed, technologically oriented Uranus, allow for technological glitches and miscommunications.  Sudden surprises may throw us off track for a brief time.  Persevere through any obstacles and know that clarity will slowly return with MERCURY STATIONING DIRECT ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2009 AT 21 VIRGO.  All communication matters should improve over the next few weeks.  All our diligence over the last month should pay off!  Stay focused and positive and keep moving forward.  Stay tuned for next month when I discuss SATURN LEAVING VIRGO AND ENTERING LIBRA.  Virgos, you should be proud.
